Why do I take the time to blog? Am I trying to get my 15 minutes of fame? Am I trying to turn a profit? I can find blogs/splogs all day long that try to do both of those things, but you won’t find that here. Although this blog is about what I think, it’s not about me. It’s about technologies that interest me or that I feel compelled to comment on. If I was doing this to become a coding rock star, an MVP, or get a job, I would have given up after just a few posts. I’ve got a long list of topics I plan on investigating (Ruby on Rails, Linux, Java, WPF, …) and commenting on here. I originally started the blog to become a better developer. I think it’s working. In fact, it’s become a little addictive. Almost daily I find myself thinking “I should blog about this or I should blog about that.” So stick around. There’s more to come.

On a side note. Can the word blog be used as a verb?
